Chelsea FC extend partnership with EA Sports

Chelsea Football Club and EA Sports have extended their long-running partnership for the next four years, and to celebrate the Club is offering three lucky fans and guests the opportunity to be at the UK premiere of FIFA 18.

Chelsea FC’s Official Gaming Partner is as popular with Chelsea players as it is supporters, and David Luiz, Eden Hazard and Andreas Christensen have all been keen to find out their ratings ahead of the new game’s release on 29 September.

Since first partnering with EA Sports in 2011, Chelsea FC has collaborated on a number of highly successful initiatives and events. Last season, Hazard, Thibaut Courtois and Michy Batshuayi memorably took on N’Golo Kante, Kurt Zouma and Nathaniel Chalobah at the Skill Game Challenge, and a number of Blues have competed with and against fans in head-to-head battles at the Bridge.

Chelsea FC Commercial Director, Chris Townsend, said: “We are very happy to renew our partnership with EA Sports. Chelsea Football Club is proud to work with some of the most famous and respected companies in the world and EA Sports’ long-term commitment is testament to the great results that we continue to achieve.  We are a perfect match on and off the field and their games are well loved by Chelsea players and our supporters all over the world.”

GM and VP EA Sports, David Rutter, added: “Chelsea FC are just as innovative as they are successful, and we all know how much success they had last season. It’s an honour to be able to call the storied club a partner and we look forward to bringing some exciting experiences to their fans this season and ones to follow.”
